Aviation Career Day – Teens learn to fly
Every year, on the 7th of December, the International Civil Aviation Day is celebrated. Every year, Bucharest Airports National Company organizes an event to celebrate this day. The formula chosen this year to mark the moment was "Aviation Career Day – Teens learn to fly ". It was a challenge to which the entities invited (Ministry of Transports – Department of Civil Aviation and Airspace, Romanian Civil Aviation Authority, Romatsa, TAROM, Romanian Airclub, Civil Aviation Superior School, Romaero, Romanian Airport Services,GlobeGround Romania, Menzies, Infra-Group) have responded well above our expectations. Thus, Thursday, December 5, we hosted over 80 teenagers whose parents work in the aviation field and who were very eager to learn more about this world.
Hereinafter, please find the wonderful feedback received from the participants:
“I did not expect this experience to strengthen my desire for studying aviation. Although there were only a few hours, travelling all the way from Arad was rewarded. I have never imagined an airport has so much to offer, thus the snow removal equipment succeeded to change my perception that at an airport only the aircrafts 'move'. I hope that in the years to come events like this will be again organized.”– Alexandra Nedescu
“The event itself was a new experience, helpful to form a complete picture of what is happening at the Henri Coandă International Airport” - Remus Ioniţă
“Thank you for organizing this event and for inviting us. This visit could be decisive in choosing my career path in life”- Leuca Dragoş Mihai
