Saint Patrick’s Day at the airport
If it’s Saint Patrick’s Day, the typical Irish celebration which, on 17 March, travels around the world by the parades held in New York, Montreal, Birmingham and London, has also arrived in Romania, Henri Coandă International Airport also held this tradition. As an active presence, always connected to the pulse of reality, Bucharest Airports joined those who celebrated Saint Patrick's Day, inviting the passengers to a small Irish dance show, performed by STEYsha School of Irish Dance. Surprisingly - or not - Ireland seems to have found faithful friends from all age groups in Romania: the only four years old dancers have kept the pace with passionate adults about Irish folklore, without embarrassing Michael Flatley, who would certainly have liked to be in the Departures Terminal of the airport and assert: "We dance tall, up, straight, free and proud. We are Irish dancers in heart, mind, body and soul".
