La vie en rose dans l’aéroport
This year, Bucharest Airports National Company celebrated the French National Day by organizing a special event entitled "La vie en rose dans l'aéroport" which was held Monday, July 14, in the new Departures Terminal of Henri Coandă International Airport.
Placing our stake on building bridges between worlds, on the delicacy of cultural exchanges, on positive, motivating and energetic relationships and high class events organized annually that make imagination run wild and boundaries to merge, we took this special opportunity to formally launch our company’s program entitled "The airport – a cultural bridge". It made its debut in 2012 with the pilot project entitled "Hanami Picnic at the airport", successfully continuing with the event organized in partnership with Air France, dedicated to the celebration of the French tradition and culture.
The passengers witnessed the military parade on Champs Elysees in Paris, after which they were invited to "taste" the delights of France: French cuisine dishes, collages of French films, unique moments of French Cancan, and an exhibition of billboards from "France is in the air" campaign, a leisure corner and a Provencal corner. Among other surprises, including small gifts of French literature, our passengers also enjoyed the artistic talent of the caricaturist present during the full course of the event. And all of this took place on the French romantic music rhythms, bringing together the spirit of France in the airport.
And if one of the passengers, impressed by all that "La vie en rose dans l'Aéroport" meant, earnestly said: "Mon chapeau pour tout le monde", we believe that the event achieved its goal.
