Friends of the Airport, Friends of the Environment

Each year brings a new challenge for our airport colleagues who have been friends with the environment for some time. In the fall of 2020, thinking ahead, we set out to refresh the air we breathe here at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport. This is how the idea of transforming the green plot near the Departures Terminal into a park with alleys, benches, flowers and trees took shape. Thus, our desire to improve the relationship with the environment turned into a pleasant waiting space for passengers, but also a setting in which they can enjoy the benefits of nature.
