Bucharest Airports National Company continued the series of events dedicated to passengers that transited Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport this December. Thus, on Thursday, December 3th, 2015, the "Christmas Tree of Hope" was settled in the Arrivals terminal and was adorned with ornaments handmade by young people with disabilities. Organized in partnership with CIADO Romania, the event included a winter musical concert, held by the young singer Maria Crăciun and the Neapolitan Ciro de Luca. Through this event we continued our good cooperation with our partner CIADO, with whom we organized a major action in August this year, "Art vs Drugs".
This time, the project belongs to a familiar area: because we want passengers to appreciate the work of those who have painstakingly done Christmas ornaments – the globes were made by disabled children - the event perfectly illustrated the concept of Bucharest Airports National Company’s social responsibility program that started in 2011: "Care and support." It is a program that supports and encourages the integration of disadvantaged groups.
We were glad to be the hosts of the "Christmas Tree of Hope" event and to be able to reward, in our own way, the efforts of young pupils whose globes are already popular on European Christmas markets.
