YOU are the first aid!

Many and diverse were the actions that the Bucharest National Airports Company organized under the sign of social responsibility, within “Be a step for the other” CSR program, but the collaboration with the Red Cross National Society of Romania took us in a direction unexplored so far: an educational, original and dynamic flash-mob, with 30 volunteers who performed resuscitation maneuvers on mannequins, in the public area of ​​the “Henri Coandă” International Airport.

The purpose of the event, which was held on the occasion of the European Resuscitation Day, was to draw attention to the importance of providing first aid and to encourage the active involvement of each of us in emergency situations. It is an effective form of awareness and public education, which can turn simple passers-by into potential rescuers.
