Romania’s National Day, celebrated in the two airports of the Capital

107 years after the Great Union, in times when the Romanian people need unity more than ever, the echo of the National Anthem once again resonated through “Aurel Vlaicu” Bucharest Băneasa International Airport — a place that has witnessed our history, active since before the Great Union and all the way to the present day, throughout every stage of our shared journey.

In the halls of this airport, the past and the present meet in a moment of pure emotion, in which travelers, employees, and visitors pause for a few moments from their routine and experience the same thrill, the same pride, the same sense of belonging.

Because Romania means more than just a date on the calendar. It means people. It means hope. It means continuity. And Romania’s National Day made us feel part of the same story, both in Băneasa Airport and in “Henri Coandă” International Airport.

The “Cununa Carpaților” Folk Ensemble joined us once again at “Henri Coandă” Airport, and through the joy, energy, and color of their traditional dances and songs, they created a festive atmosphere for those leaving the country, as well as for those returning home. Thus, Romania’s National Day was celebrated with emotion in the two airports of the Capital, honoring the traditions and values of our country.
