Air Traffic Operations at Bucharest Airports Conducted Under Winter Conditions

Air traffic at Henri Coanda International Airport Bucharest and Aurel Vlaicu International Airport Bucharest Baneasa is operating under winter conditions, according to the flight schedule, without disruptions.

Runways, aprons and taxiways are open, with all conditions ensured for the safe conduct of air operations.

Continuous operations are being carried out using 58 dedicated vehicles available to Bucharest’s two airports, in order to maintain movement areas in optimal operating conditions.

Aircraft are landing and taking off safely. No flights are cancelled in Bucharest due to weather conditions. Some flights may experience minor delays caused by the need for aircraft de-icing, which is performed by airlines after passenger boarding.
