Plane Spotters’ Day

Their passion—of those who “hunt” aircraft through the lens of a camera - has turned them into a distinct community, one that Bucharest Airports National Company has chosen to protect and support. The spotters are our friends and partners, and we strive to provide them with the best conditions so they can capture, directly from the airside of “Henri Coandă” International Airport, the fascinating show of aviation.

And because every shot they capture with such talent, dedication, and patience tells a story that brings the magic of flight closer to the public, they deserved a day of their own - one in which they could come face to face with the very object of their fascination: Plane Spotters’ Day. It is a tradition eagerly awaited by both sides, initiated in 2017 and joyfully resumed this year on November 20, when we saw them once again practicing their… passion, at an event organized by the Bucharest Airports National Company for all who love aviation.
