Today we celebrate the International Civil Aviation Day!

To mark the day, Bucharest Airports organized the event “Who knows aviation history wins” meant to promote aviation among students, bringing to their attention significant moments in the history of Romanian and international aviation.

The contest was attended by middle school students from “Ioan Petrus” High School of Otopeni, whose knowledge in aviation history was tested thoroughly. All the participants were awarded prizes. The event was held at “Ion Manu” Cultural Center in Otopeni.

The event was included in the program named “Bucharest Airports, a Value Promoter”, a project which aims to support Romanian excellence and values by promoting cultural, artistic and sports activities.
