“ORIGINS ” –Photography exhibition at Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport

Statues of Dacians from the world’s museums may now be found at the airport!

Where can the Dacians be found? In museums all over the world! Life-sized statues and busts made of noble materials reminding of the bravery of our ancestors (“those who imposed tribute to the superb marble queen of the world – Rome” as Mihai Eminescu beautifully stated) that can be found in Rome, Florence, Copenhagen, New York or Jerusalem have been exhibited on photography posters in Henri Coandă International Airport!

Hence, Thursday, August 28, in the gallery room of Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, a special event called "ORIGINS" took place. Truly, a wonderful occasion to remember together with our passengers the Roman fascination for the people of Dacia, a heartfelt exercise of Romanian culture and identity!

The event, organized in partnership with Asociaţia Identitate Culturală Contemporană, brought to the attention of our passengers a photo exhibition entitled "Symbols of Romanian cultural identity. Ancient statues of Dacians found in museums all over the world".
Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to meet with historical characters of the Dacian civilization, interpreted in an unconventional manner by professional actors, watched historical movie collages and participated in a raffle.
