Celebrating 137 years since the birth of Aurel Vlaicu

Celebrating 137 years since the birth of Aurel Vlaicu and 47 years since the passing of Henri Coandă, Bucharest Airports National Company and the Romanian Association for Aeronautical History&Propaganda (ARPIA, the Bucharest branch) organized an event to honour the Romanian contribution to the development of the world aeronautics.

The special guest was Dumitru Prunariu, who shared with us his incredible space flight experience, delivering a symbolic speech to the students of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering (UPB) - EUROAVIA members.
